GARDEN STATE Crush

The Girls ONLY Premier AAU program…

This AAU organization was designed to capture the most competitive female players from the North Jersey and Rockland County, NY area.  The GARDEN STATE CRUSH is led by Head Coach, Kerin Roche.  The GARDEN STATE CRUSH is not just a team but a family.  Coach Roche brings her professional career experience(s) as a former Rutgers Women’s Basketball coaching staff member, high-level AAU coach, and a former college scholarship player to each and every practice.  The GARDEN STATE CRUSH institutes a system for defense and offense that is run with all the teams at all grade levels.  This builds a fundamental foundation for the players as they are introduced to and grow with the program.  The Garden State CRUSH has chosen their home court to be OPEN GYMS in Oakland, NJ.  This choice was driven by the ability to coach and teach players via film study, and the ability for teams to practice and play on a brand new high school regulation-size court.

If you have the drive, the passion, and desire to play for one of the top coaches and AAU organizations in the area…Don’t hesitate, contact us now for tryout information and private training(s) with Head Coach, Kerin Roche.

As a native of Maywood NJ, I graduated from Hackensack High School in 2016 where I was a four year varsity athlete and led the state in blocked shots during both my junior and senior years. I am a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education in 2021 and am currently working towards completing my master’s degree in Special Education. During the school year, I work as a 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher in Saddle Brook.

As a member of Ramapo College’s women’s basketball team, I was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Co-Defensive Player of the Year, NJAC Player of the Week and co-captain of my team. Over the course of my playing career, I prided myself on being a defensive minded player and as a result I finished 4th in career blocked shots and 8th in career rebounds in Ramapo College Women’s Basketball History. In addition to Crush, I have returned to Ramapo College as one of the assistant coaches for the women’s basketball program. I’m so excited to be apart of the Crush family and am looking forward to a great season ahead!
